I had left the RAF and was working full time as a DJ, using the name of MIKE OCEAN, with a number of mobile disco's & DJ's working under me, doing Radio 1 road shows, clubs, Pubs etc.  when I was approached to do 2 weeks all expenses paid in some place called Bahrain in the Persian Gulf, this was to be a turning point in my life...... I left in June of 77............
